Community and Family Engagement: Family involvement is a primary factor in a student's academic success. I will ensure parents are engaged and informed regarding their child's education. Education is an investment in our community’s future, and our schools should welcome and embrace community engagement.

School Safety: As a parent, I understand that schools must be safe for students to learn effectively. I will do everything in my power to protect our students' physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing, including working with District administrators to explore adding additional School Resource Officers and mental health professionals on our campuses. I also will work to ensure our schools are not used as a tool for anyone's social agenda.

Public Image of our District: To attract and retain families in Arlington, we must improve the image of our public schools. I will work to share the good news that is present in our school system but that is often overlooked or overshadowed by negative headlines.

Support Our Educators: For our District to thrive, we need quality staff who feel supported and respected. It is important to me that AISD continue compensation policies that are at or near the top of the market. But beyond pay, we must ensure that our teachers and staff feel safe, are respected, and treated like professionals in their daily work.
